Whether you are looking to have a sounding board for daily life, find new ways to manage challenges, or dig into deep beliefs or traumas that no longer serve you, we can find ways to explore that don't feel confined to the therapy session. My therapeutic toolbox is rich with many approaches: I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Brain Synchronization Technique to help process trauma whenever you are ready to dive deeper and equipped with the skills to make these changes. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address harmful thought patterns or beliefs that impact emotions and create more problems than benefits! With Dialectical Behavioral Therapy we can also work to improve emotional and interpersonal skills by having tangible and actionable things to do in the moment. Or therapy can be a time and space to just be able to rediscover the strengths that you already bring to the table. I hope to always provide a safe and affirming space for anyone regardless of their background. I have worked in community mental health with women who were requiring support through transitional periods of life. I currently work with adolescents in residential care for mental health and addiction issues. I have both my licensed professional counselor and licensed addiction counselor licenses in the state of Colorado. Outside of my professional life, I am an avid adventurer. Whether I'm backpacking in the mountains or enjoying a quiet hike closer to home, I find joy and rejuvenation in the great outdoors. These pursuits not only keep me engaged in the natural world, but also bring new insights and energy to my work.
