Getting to know Ashley Raymond

I have experience working with individuals of all ages and populations. I have primarily worked in emergency rooms and community mental health for the past 10 years. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and my Bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University. My style is warm and validating while also challenging my clients to see new perspectives. I am able to work with all diagnoses and provide additional community resources if desired. My goal is to ensure my clients never feel alone and to help them work toward their goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first visit appointment together I will collect a history, identify current symptoms, and establish a working diagnosis. Together we will identify treatment goals and discuss ways we will work towards them. Our treatment together will move at a comfortable and individualized pace. My goal in each session is to focus on your reported concerns and work together to reduce symptoms.
