Getting to know Ashley Sampson

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Maybe you’re going through a difficult season, feeling overwhelmed, working through something from your past, or simply ready to understand yourself on a deeper level. Whatever brought you here, you’ll have a space where you can be yourself, talk openly, and feel genuinely heard and supported. Sometimes healing starts with simply having a conversation.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Some days you may have a lot to talk about, and other days you may not even know where to begin and that’s okay. We’ll figure it out together. My role is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, talking openly, and working through whatever life has placed in front of you without fear of judgment. Our sessions will be real conversations where we explore what you’re feeling, recognize patterns, celebrate your growth, and work through the moments that feel a little harder. I’ll support you, encourage you, and gently challenge you when needed. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself. We’ll take it one conversation, one step, and one season at a time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

No two people are the same, so I don’t believe therapy should look the same for everyone. Our sessions will be shaped around you, your experiences, your goals, and what you need most in this season of your life. Together, we’ll talk through what’s been on your mind, explore patterns that may be showing up in your relationships or everyday life, and make connections that help you better understand yourself. Some sessions may focus on what’s happening right now, while others may take us back to experiences that still impact you today. Along the way, we’ll celebrate your progress, work through the difficult moments, and build tools you can actually use outside of therapy. This is your space to talk, reflect, heal, and grow without judgment or pressure. You don’t have to have everything figured out, we’ll work through it together, at a pace that feels right for you..
