Ashley Scheetz, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
My name is Ashley Scheetz and I have worked in helping professions for 11 years. I have experience working with a wide range of clients, but specialize in working with women, the LGBTQ+ community, and those that struggle with substance use. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I provide affirming care and am committed to ongoing growth as an ally to the BIPOC community. I show up to therapy fully as myself and encourage you to do the same. In our first session together, here's what you can expect I meet you where you are and offer a safe, non-judgmental space to be your full self. We’ll focus on what’s helped you survive, what you want moving forward, and realistic steps toward change. I also believe there’s room for humor—because healing can include laughter, too. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions I'm a Certified Master's Level Addiction Professional (MCAP), which means I've had specialized training in supporting people with substance use challenges. I consider my therapy practice to be collaborative, meaning we'll work together to address your current struggles. I incorporate humor throughout while continuing to provide an empathetic ear. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, substance use, and domestic violence. I work with women and those in the LGBTQ community who are struggling with life transitions, relationship issues, and day to day stress. I provide support to clients that are feeling stuck or overwhelmed with their current life circumstances and need a sounding board or inclusive space to discuss what they're going through.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
