Psychotherapist
FL
Hi, my name is Ashley Silverio and I grew up in Miami, FL. I attended Florida International University, where I completed my undergraduate studies in 2014 and graduate studies in 2016. I later became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in maternal mental health and infant mental health. I have worked within different settings and non-profit community agencies providing mental health therapy services at different capacities to women, adolescents, and children. I decided to open up my mental health therapy private practice in 2020. I accept private pay and some commercial health insurances. My approach when working with you is a client-centered, self-directed care approach. I am not here to make decisions for you, I believe you are the expert of your own life. Rather, I am here to help guide you in your growth, empowering you to make decisions for yourself on whatever journey you are on. We will spend some time discussing your past and future, but in our time together we will mostly focus on the present. With a combination of mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, we will work together to overcome life's obstacles and challenges. We will practice different techniques and skills to help build your confidence in dealing with everyday stressors. Finding the right therapist can be tough. If my approach and background sound like a good fit, please reach out and I will be happy to answer any questions. I can't wait to hear from you and look forward to helping you on your journey to thrive!
