Most of my clients seek therapy during big life transitions, whether that be starting graduate school, moving to a new state, or relationship issues. Times of immense change can lead us to feeling lost, anxious, and unsure of ourselves and our path. Whether you’re struggling to cope with anxiety/depression, relationship issues, body image, grief/loss, or seeking to enhance your emotional resilience, I’m here to offer guidance and support by using gentle but effective mindfulness-based therapy and somatic (body-based) interventions. My approach combines mindfulness techniques with somatic therapy to support the mind-body connection and gain a deeper sense of self-understanding and self-trust. I use a range of mindfulness-based somatic practices, including body scans, breath work, Gestalt (parts work), and gentle movement to help you tune into your body’s signals and better manage distress. Throughout my professional career as a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with folks from a wide variety of backgrounds and life milestones. I have offered individual and group therapy with many perinatal women, utilizing CBT as well as psychodynamic approaches to process family of origin trauma, traumatic births, transition into motherhood, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I have also worked with many survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, and women struggling with complex grief and loss. Making the choice to come to therapy can be an intimidating one, and it can also be one of the greatest gifts you offer yourself. Through a holistic approach, we can work together to develop trust in yourself and your innate wisdom. My goal is to support you in finding balance, resilience, and a deeper connection to your own well-being.
