Getting to know Ashlyn Railsback

As a counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Hardin-Simmons University, I show compassion and acceptance to every client I work with and hope to serve all populations and people from all walks of life. I work from a CBT approach and, through collaboration with the client, identify their goals or hopes for what counseling can help with. It is an honor to work with my clients and support them on their journey. I seek to create a safe space where they can feel comfortable and at ease—an environment that encourages healing and allows them to process their thoughts and emotions safely.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I works with individuals, as well as seeing couples and families. I have experience working with people of all ages. I'm passionate about helping women, and women who have experienced infertility and pregnancy loss. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich couples counseling, and trained in prolonged exposure therapy for addressing trauma and PTSD.
