My name is Athena Soleim, and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. I focus on helping clients who struggle with ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, addiction, and personality disorders. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my practice. My approach I utilize both CBT and DBT to support my clients in their healing journey. My focus As a compassionate licensed clinical social worker, I am here to provide support once you decide to make changes. My goal as a counselor is to offer a safe, dedicated space that promotes healing, lifelong change, and guides you in the direction you want to go. Life presents many challenges, and I believe in a collaborative approach-we work together as partners to help you reach your goals. Starting therapy can feel scary or overwhelming, but by taking this first step, you ensure you have the resources and tools to succeed. Together, we will find the best path forward. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, grief, or addiction, I am here to help. I also provide couples and family counseling for marriage and family-related concerns. My communication style I create a safe and welcoming environment to support you through any challenge. My journey to mental healthcare I have always enjoyed helping people. My goal is to work myself out of a job as you meet your goals! My goals for you I work with you on goal setting and meet you where you are in the therapy process. My first session with you During our first session, we will identify your goals together. I will gather basic information about you and your history so we can begin developing your treatment plan, always with your input.
