Getting to know Attalie Santiago

Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes constantly, and making adjustments as we pivot to meet the expectations of family, community, and work often leads to a sense of depletion and no time to care for yourself. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate, or take on everyone else's issues and never have time to sort out your own sense of wellness and health, I am here to help you grow, understand, and advocate for your overall health and well-being. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and I look at mental health in a holistic sense. I blend mindfulness with decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you. I empower you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into alignment with your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with yourself-defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems, and understanding how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world-are the staples to grounding yourself mentally. You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now, I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My focus and interest is to help educate you on what affects you and increase your coping skills to manage life better. This is an adventure to understand who you are and what you choose to respond or react to, from nutrition; to movement; the love you seek or to decrease the limits you have placed on yourself. A healthy relationship with self is an important baseline that I aim to help you set. Confronting anxiety, depression, life changing circumstances, mental and physical health issues takes tremendous courage and hard work; therefore anyone having access and taking the time to enter this process is respected and nurtured as they open themselves up to find resilience in small and manageable bites.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
