Getting to know Audra Popik

My motto in life and in counseling is to meet people where they are and walk alongside them on the journey through a path of healing. I am grateful and honored to work in this field and strive to provide the best possible therapy to each client. My faith, and family are central to my life and inspire me to do this work. When I am not in session, I am an avid learner who enjoys reading and traveling. I am a dedicated counselor with an eclectic mix of clinical techniques that utilize compassion, accountability, and sound mental health practices. This includes DBT, CBT, person-centered, and motivational interviewing. I have vast experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, marital/couples issues, addiction, spiritual care, perinatal/maternal depression, Bipolar and mood disorders. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse population of clients in their healing journey. This includes clients and their families within the crisis management, residential treatment field, and the foster care system; women and families who needed perinatal support; labor, delivery, and postpartum services in a hospital setting; and women seeking to enhance their education, career, and mental health. Most recently, I’ve facilitated intensive outpatient groups focused on addiction and mental health.
