Getting to know Audra Popik

My motto in life and in counseling is to meet people where they are at and walk alongside them on the journey through a path of healing. I am grateful and honored to work in this field and strive to provide the best possible therapy to each and every client. My faith and family are central to my life and inspire me to do this work. When I am not in session, I am an avid learner who enjoys reading and traveling. I am a dedicated counselor with an eclectic mix of clinical techniques that utilizes compassion, accountability and sound mental health practices. This includes DBT, CBT, person centered and motivational interviewing. I have vast experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, marital/couples, addiction, spiritual care, perinatal/maternal depression, Bi-polar and mood disorders. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting a diverse population of clients in their healing journey. This includes client’s and their families within the crisis management, residential treatment field and the foster care system, women, families who needed perinatal support, labor and delivery and postpartum services in a hospital setting, and women seeking to enhance their education, career and mental health. Most recently, I’ve facilitated intensive outpatient groups focused on addiction and mental health.
