I have almost a decade of professional work experience and over 22 years of raising and homeschooling my family. I feel God has given me a gift for connecting with the clients and families I work with. Through this connection, I can help you determine the path you want to take. It takes strength to seek change and courage to open yourself up. My role as your therapist is to work with you to build the skills to succeed in reaching the treatment goals you set. I obtained my MSW from the University of Denver and am licensed as a clinical social worker in both Colorado and Texas. I spent several years working in the field of sexual abuse, supporting victims and their families. I've worked in Community Mental Health, providing therapy to individuals and groups managing stress, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, relationship issues, parenting concerns, trauma, and problems with life changes/stressors. Focusing on forgiveness, gratitude, and self-acceptance supports a healthy mental life, which is the goal of treatment.
