I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Endorsement, a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Clinical Supervision Endorsement, and an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor. In 2020, with the impact caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19 to our world, I became a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. I am an Official Registry Member of Star Behavioral Health Providers, which services the military and their families. In 1990, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University, and in 1993, I obtained my Master of Arts in Education in Community Counseling from the University of Akron. Since 1990, I have served in a variety of diverse settings such as Crisis Intervention, Residential and Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment, Employee Assistance Program, Treatment Alternatives for Criminal Offenders, a Graduate Counseling Program as an Adjunct Professor, and for the past 20 years, I have been in Private Practice.
