Getting to know Aurora Garza
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University located in Fort Bliss, Texas. I consider it a great honor when others come to me with their challenges in life. I enjoy what I do immensely. It is because of this; I continually pursue workshops and training to further my skills and knowledge. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Re-Processing Technique, Sand-Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and of course my favorite Hypnotherapy.
I have provided therapy to individuals of all backgrounds and occupations. Having worked as a Program Manager for the Crisis Intervention Team within the Police Department, I am very familiar with providing therapeutic assistance to our first responders, (police officers, security guards, physicians, nurses, medical personnel, paramedics, firefighters, transportation, and delivery personnel) and those who are suffering from severe stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I recently completed my MBA in Healthcare. This gave me an opportunity to experience first-hand the stressors that come along with pursuing a college education. The stress of homework and the school-life-work balance.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
