My primary focus is on helping you embrace resiliency and daily practices such as confidence, courage, relationships, self-compassion, and honoring what you believe in. Doing this will help you to transform into the self you want to be. I specialize in support for those dealing with struggles such as depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, trauma, difficulty adjusting to new roles, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with youth struggling with negative behaviors such as self-harming, and suicidal ideation resulting from depression, anxiety, and problems in relationships with family and peers. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and removal from their homes. I have a special place in my heart for young people and the matters they struggle with. I am passionate about helping people recognize who they were created to be. We will work together to explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back and then help you identify and implement the new choices and practices that will help you to walk in your purpose. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. I have received training focusing on working with survivors of trauma (Trauma Informed Care), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing.
