My practice, Kander Counseling and Consulting, is built on the belief that true healing begins in a space where you are fully seen, heard, and known without judgment. What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and grounded partnership rooted in a heart for restoration. My approach is shaped by a diverse life path, including my background in military leadership and my current journey as a doctoral student, which has allowed me to work with individuals across many contexts, which has given me a deep respect for how easily a person's true identity can get buried under the weight of survival. I do not show up as an expert with all the answers but as a fellow human who values the parts of you that have felt overlooked. My style is warm, compassionate, and direct, focusing on the intersection of your mental health and your core values through a blend of ACT, CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy. We will move beyond just managing symptoms to explore the deeper questions of who you are and what you were created for. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and kindness, helping you move past a season of drifting and into a state of real, sustainable peace.
