Getting to know Autumn Moran
Hello! My name is Autumn, and I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas, a certified Life Coach, and a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Instructor.
Day-to-day life can become hectic and unmanageable when past issues remain unresolved or when stress levels become overwhelming. I am here to help you navigate your world by increasing positive coping skills and improving your overall quality of life.
In addition to my education, I bring personal experience as a trauma survivor who has successfully managed mental health challenges. The interventions and support I provide have proven effective and will work for you. Some of the approaches I use include DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Meditation, Yoga/Body Movement, Breath Awareness, and a strong focus on self-care, self-love, and self-acceptance.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our first session will be a time for us to get to know each other and find out what brings you to counseling. After the first visit, we will continue to build a safe relationship as well as begin to learn about DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Mindfulness practices.
Couples - I am taking appointments for couples counseling. I offer 10-12 week couples counseling sessions. Each session has an agenda and focuses on improving communication skills, intimacy, and overall relationship satisfaction. COUPLES COUNSELING IS PRIVATE/CASH PAY ONLY.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
