I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults facing mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges. I have counseled individuals with a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger management concerns, phase of life problems, family and relationship issues, grief/loss, and trauma. I am also a trained EMDR therapist and certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I earned my Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from George Washington University. My clinical philosophy can be captured by the following words: ?It's not just in your head, it's in your brain.? My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that much of the ongoing emotional and psychological distress we carry throughout life is rooted in trauma, which directly affects the central nervous system. By helping clients understand the neurological reasons behind their distress and integrating techniques to support rewiring for well-being, individuals become more empowered and confident to creatively assume control over how they want to live their lives.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
