Ayanna Gellineau, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
Hello, and welcome. My name is Ayanna Gellineau, and I’m a trauma-focused therapist committed to helping individuals reconnect with themselves in safe, meaningful ways. I work from the belief that healing is possible when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to make sense of our stories — at our own pace, in our own voice. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — and they’re often carrying unspoken pain from past experiences. My role is to hold space for your healing, offering a steady presence and a collaborative approach that centers your needs. I honor the courage it takes to begin this work and view therapy as a partnership rooted in trust, safety, and mutual respect. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed practices that may include mindfulness, somatic awareness, inner child work, and cognitive-behavioral techniques — always tailored to your unique story. My style is warm, curious, and affirming. I will meet you where you are and support you in moving forward with clarity and compassion. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have experience working in community mental health and private practice settings. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, and I value the complexity of each client’s identity and lived experience. If you're looking for a therapist who listens deeply, honors your pace, and offers a space where all parts of you are welcome — you’re in the right place. Therapy is not about fixing you; it’s about helping you reconnect with the strength and wisdom that’s already within you. I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
