Welcome, and thank you for your time in learning more about me! My name is Ayesha, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and have over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with children, families, couples, and individuals struggling with various issues related, but not limited, to stress, divorce, addiction, depression, female infertility, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and infidelity, among others. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy framework.
I believe that we are essentially equipped with insight on who we are and a passion to learn more about ourselves in order to lead healthy lives. But sometimes the picture is unclear or hidden under other things in our lives. To unveil and begin the journey of leading healthier lives, it is important for me to create a space that is open-minded, non-judgmental, and an unconditionally positive experience when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me. Our relationship with ourselves and others has worth and is useful to explore in counseling.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
