I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a trauma-informed, faith-integrated approach, and I specialize in helping adults, children, and teens navigate grief, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional healing. My practice is rooted in compassion, safety, and collaboration because I believe meaningful change happens when you feel supported and truly seen. My approach to treatment is warm and grounded in both clinical insight and genuine care. I use trauma-informed practices to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s weighing on you at your own pace. I draw from evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and person-centered techniques, while integrating faith when it’s meaningful to you. We’ll work together to identify goals that matter to you, whether that’s managing anxiety, healing from trauma, or finding clarity in the midst of life’s challenges. Therapy with me is a space where you’re encouraged, supported, and never alone in the process. I work best with women who are carrying the weight of grief, infertility, or birth trauma, and with adults, children, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, or behavioral challenges. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or like no one really understands what you’re going through, I want you to know you’re not alone. I offer a calm, supportive space where we can process the hard things together. Using a trauma-informed and faith-sensitive approach, I’ll walk with you as you heal, grow, and reclaim a sense of peace and purpose in your life. Whether you're a mom in crisis, a teen trying to find your voice, or someone grieving what could have been, I'm here to support you with care and clarity.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In session, I communicate with honesty, compassion, and calm. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard, whether you're processing something heavy or just showing up as you are that day. I’ll meet you with gentleness, but I’m also here to help you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is to build a relationship based on trust, where you feel comfortable being real, asking questions, and moving at a pace that honors your story. My journey to becoming a therapist was deeply personal. After years of walking through my own experiences with grief, loss, and healing, I felt a strong pull to create the kind of space I once needed, one filled with compassion, safety, and hope. My background as a teacher and my passion for helping others led me to pursue counseling, where I found deep purpose in walking alongside women, adults, children, and teens through life’s most painful and transformative seasons. I believe healing happens in relationships, and it’s a privilege to hold space for others as they navigate their own path forward. I believe meaningful goals come from what truly matters to you, not just a checklist of symptoms. Early in our work together, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what healing or progress looks like in your life. From there, we’ll create clear, realistic goals that guide our sessions while leaving room for flexibility as your needs evolve. I’ll offer tools, encouragement, and gentle accountability to help you stay grounded and empowered along the way. Therapy isn’t about perfection; it’s about movement, growth, and learning how to care for yourself with intention.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, my priority is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. We’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain, without rushing or forcing anything. I’ll ask a few background questions to help guide our work, but more than anything, I want to begin building a foundation of trust. My sessions are client-led, which means we move at your pace, and you decide what feels most important to talk about. I’m here to support, not to push, and to walk alongside you as you begin this meaningful journey.
