Getting to know Ayse Darnell
Do you always seem to be struggling on the fringes or even have intense trauma, anxiety, or depression? Are you from a minority population, or a marginalized group? You deserve to have a space of healing and complete acceptance to further explore, grow, and understand yourself. It is my goal as a provider to work on what YOU want to work on during your journey of growth and healing. You are your own expert, I'm just here to keep us on the path.
I am a Half-Turkish LPCC-S who specializes in EMDR, cultural diversity, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ concerns, alternative lifestyles, and neurodivergent populations. I am intensely passionate about meeting clients where they are and working on goals collaboratively with clients and any supports in their lives with whatever method that works the best for them.
Starting therapy no matter how many times you may have tried before, can be frightening but I am here to help make this process go smoothly! Let us work together and see where your life can go, and how it can change!

What should a new client know about working with you?
Following your first session you will have the beginnings of tools to start making a true difference in your life. Depending on your needs, we may even have begun an EMDR treatment plan. You will have someone in your corner, to support you and help navigate your therapy journey from day one!
After multiple sessions, we will dig a little deeper to the patterns, to the triggers to the causes for those concerns. I will help support your journey through resources and coping skills to allow you to stand on your own.
It is my goal that while therapy takes as long as it takes, and can even stop and start multiple times, that someone gets to the point where they no longer need me. It is my hope that with all the resources available, you will get to the place that therapy isn't required.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
