Getting to know Baille Jones

My goal as a therapist is to meet clients where they are and work from there toward healing. As a team, we seek deeper understanding of the experiences, thoughts, relationships and emotions that have influenced clients and led them to where they are today. Through this process, clients develop a deeper trust in themselves and their abilities to move forward successfully. My passion for working with people with athletic identities started with my own journey. I took to the water before I started walking, joining a swim team at the age of 8 and then finding a love for competitive rowing at the age of 12. At the end of high school, a career-ending back injury robbed me of my collegiate athlete experience and led me to start asking “Who am I?” After that, my career path was obvious, and I find deep fulfillment in guiding others on similar journeys. I specialize with teens and student athletes navigating difficult transitions, with sports, school or family. I also have experience working with adults having challenges with life transitions. I have a degree in Sports Psychology, so I help athletes (and non-athletes) in the areas of motivation, identity and performance. I am also in the process of becoming certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which works to explore all of our "parts" and find a deeper connection to our inner 'Self' energy.
