My name is Barb Adams. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. I have provided individual, couples, family, and group therapy for over 30 years. I also specialize in working with impaired professionals.

I provide a holistic approach that includes a combination of techniques such as ACT, DPT, CBT, psychoeducational methods, and mindfulness. It takes strength and courage to reach out and ask for help, and I work to offer a warm and caring approach designed to help you feel comfortable on your journey.

I have an extensive history of working with many differing diagnoses. Some of my specialties include depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, among others. I have also spent over 10 years working specifically with impaired professionals in the medical and legal fields.

I consider being a therapist a calling, not just a job. My warm and caring demeanor has always helped me create positive relationships with my clients and contributed to successful outcomes.
