“Barbara was an incredible help to me. She listened, and heard, what I was saying - sometimes even before I fully understood it. Barbara connects easily, is warm, direct and empowering. She is solution orientated and has a fabulous sense of humor as well. Getting to know Barbara Berry

Welcome to Your Transformation Process! In an age of disconnection and isolation, you are here, reading my profile for a reason. You are ready, or are moving toward readiness, to make a change in your life. Congratulations! If you feel called to work with me, it would be my joy and honor to hold space for your healing and support you in becoming the most authentic version of yourself and living your best life. “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” – Aristotle Healing and recovery from childhood and other traumatic wounds is a process that is not for the faint of heart. It takes courage, commitment, and support. I know this firsthand. I committed to my own healing 20 years ago and continue today doing the work to ensure I am living my life in alignment with my purpose and with joy. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to guide you through your healing journey with compassion and expertise.

What should a new client know about working with you?

work with clients in two different levels of intensity. If you like metaphors - think; taking a walk in nature, versus deadlifts and kettlebell work. Level One: Self care/coping skills - Utlizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Meditation to support the overall health and well being of your mind and mood. This is the taking a walk in nature level. Level Two: Radical Self Acceptance - Combining Jungian Shadow Work, Internal Family Systems, and (if you choose) Psychedelic Integration (more on this later). These are the dead lifts and kettle bells level of intensity. In each session we will ebb and flow between these two levels of work in order for you to dramatically deepen your relationship with Self.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Barbara is probably the therapist that I have felt the most in line with and zero judgement from in all my years of therapy.
