Ms. Defazzio has worked with clients experiencing anxiety and depression for over forty years. She has served as a clinical consultant on issues such as childhood trauma, the long-term effects of abuse on a child, PTSD and childhood attachment issues. Since coming to Florida in 1998, Ms Defazzio has served as Clinical Director for the Children's Home Society, Neighbor To Family, and Kids Peace, and has served as President and CEO for Circle of Friends Services for 16 years. Ms. Defazzio is a recognized expert in child trauma treatment, and has provided consultation and training in trauma work for both local and national venues. Currently Ms. Defazzio is in private practice, specializing in the treatment of trauma. Sessions are by telemedicine only
