What should a new client know about working with you?

With a structured, client-centered approach, Barbara helps clients work through any obstacles and/or challenges they may have by fostering healthier relationships, building healthier communication and connection within relationships and family dynamics, as well as, developing practical tools to navigate trauma at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions are warm and conversational, but grounded in clear goals and honest feedback along the way. Barbara's approach combines clinical training with practical tools clients can use between sessions to navigate life's challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients will first book a session through Zoc Doc. After a session is booked, clients are given access to a patient portal, where they can join sessions, fill out paperwork, and see their insurance billing. In the first session, we will discuss the therapy process, set goals together, answer any questions you might have about our work together, and ensure we are aligned to work together!
