Getting to know Barbara Hatch

Hello, my name is Barbara, I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2021. However, prior to becoming licensed I worked as a social worker for the State of CT for over 30 years. While working I attended and graduated from Fordham University graduate program of Social Work. My experience as a social worker consisted of working with children, adults & families in crisis. During those years working for the State of CT I learned the importance of being nonjudgmental & empathetic in working with people. I believe if your going to be able to build a trusting relationship, you need to meet the person where they are at. Everyone has strengths, often unrecognized, but they re there I also know that everyone has the ability to make change in their life, if they choose to, and if they have the supports to assist them in making their desired change. I would like to be able to assist you as you seek to work towards making change, so you can move forward in your life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
