What should a new client know about working with you?

I prioritize individuality in care, working to find ways to best support my clients in a way that is innovative, empowering, and collaborative. I enjoy bringing my clients to the table to discuss treatment, pulling the veil back on therapy and allowing for a greater understanding of how you think, feel, and respond. I utilize various modalities and tools to achieve goals, but lean on a foundation of person-centered therapy that is etched into every element of my practice.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A successful therapeutic environment is created by both the client and therapist working to maintain a warm, welcoming space in which each party feels understood and respected. My greatest hope as a therapist is that my clients are able to take away a sense of empowerment from our mutually created space. During our initial sessions, you can expect us to spend time understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. We will work collaboratively to develop a plan that works, using a variety of approaches to individualize your care. Many clients report feeling seen, understood, and valued within our first sessions. We can make sense of it all - together.
