My clinical experience has allowed me to work in a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization, community mental health, and private practice, with individuals from diverse populations. I particularly find meaning in working with those who have experienced trauma, existential issues, grief, and loss. I have extensive experience supporting individuals who use substances to cope with the effects of these events. Trauma and adverse life experiences can alter one’s perception of the world, self, and others. I am a bicultural first-generation Polish-American—a female first responder by day and a culinary adventurer by night—a Chicago native and lifer. I am also an advocate for removing systemic barriers to access care and a proud LGBTQ ally and advocate. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Adler University.
