Getting to know Becky Budzina

Do you feel misunderstood and struggle to find the words to explain your thoughts, feelings, wants, and needs? Do you fear the "what ifs" of situations and then avoid them? Do you dwell on past memories that haunt you, replaying how you might have handled things differently to prevent them? Do big emotions or quick decisions negatively impact your life? Do you feel different from those around you? Does life overwhelm you sometimes, or even all the time? Are you an adult or adolescent living with neurodiversity? Or are you the parent of a neurodiverse child? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I am the therapist for you! My name is Becky Budzina, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Behavioral Specialist (LBS) in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. For 18 years, I have worked in mental and behavioral health, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their caregivers. My goal has always been to help those I serve live the life they deserve. I am my clients' biggest fan, and their successes are the life force of my practice! I specialize in working with clients who live with neurodivergence, including Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Autism, ADHD, and Mild to Moderate Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Neurodivergent means the brain works differently in one or more ways than what is considered typical. Many notable people throughout history have been neurodivergent-it does not mean you are less than. Rather, you are uniquely made, sensitive to the world around you, and must learn when to adapt to the world and when to encourage the world to adapt to you. I want to provide a safe space where you can work through challenging thoughts and feelings and learn strategies to build strength and resilience to face life's challenges.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
