Becky Haderer, LLMSW

Psychotherapist
MI
I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully witnessed, heard, and accepted. I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you can explore life's challenges without judgment while discovering your own resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years supporting people through holistic wellness as a Reiki Master/energy practitioner, postpartum doula, certified lactation counselor and women's wellness practitioner. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection and the importance of creating space for healing in ways that honor each person's unique journey. While my clinical work is grounded in evidence-based social work practice, I recognize the value of mindfulness, self-compassion, nervous system support, and intentional self-care as part of the healing process.

I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully witnessed, heard, and accepted. What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based and rooted in the understanding that our emotional, physical, relational, and nervous systems are deeply connected. I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, perfectionism, and issues related to self-worth and identity. I have a special passion for supporting women through major life transitions, including pregnancy, postpartum, miscarriage, motherhood, divorce, caregiving, and the often-overlooked process of rediscovering themselves.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that therapy is not about "fixing" people. You aren't broken! It's about helping you reconnect with the strengths and wisdom that already exist within you. Together, we will identify patterns that no longer serve you, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals.
