Hi, I am Benedicte Libibe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia with more than 20 years of experience in mental health. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and compassionate multilingual practitioner with experience working with children, adults, couples, and families from diverse and multicultural backgrounds. I am passionate about providing mental health treatment to clients dealing with childhood trauma, sexual abuse, grief, stress management, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, attention difficulties, behavior management, career concerns, racism-related stress, burnout, and managing daily life stressors, among other areas.

We believe in a holistic and eclectic approach that focuses on individual strengths. I am a good listener, attentive and intentional about helping client experience healing. I am transparent, insightful, and personable and I engage client with though provoking questions and provide practical guidance towards intuitive self-discovery. We specialize in trauma treatment (EMDR), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I utilize mindfulness with a client-centered and solution-focused approach to help build coping skills and foster healthy habits and boundaries.
