Getting to know Benjamin Schultz

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University. I have experience working in a variety of settings with a wide range of presenting problems. I strive to be as present with people as possible and value authenticity in the therapy relationship. I find that the more I am able to be myself, the more others seem to be their true selves. I am licensed in California and Texas and registered as an out-of-state telehealth provider for Florida, allowing me to work with residents of all three states. I aim to use our time efficiently and look forward to working with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I view my role as a therapist is to establish an environment where enough trust is formed for exploration of pain to be possible. I have found success in building trust by committing to honest dialogue.
