Psychotherapist

I see therapy as a partnership—we’ll set goals that matter to you and adjust them as your needs change. My role is to give you support and tools so you can keep moving toward the life you want, even when things feel hard. My approach I use different therapeutic modalities like CBT, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior therapy (DBT) as well as other treatment models. I I would need to ask you more detailed questions to determine what could help you best. I would want to know generally how would feel different once you achieve your treatment goals. My focus Oftentimes, people describe themselves as “feeling stuck”—unable to move, change, or get away from a situation. One of the main goals in my practice is to help you understand why you feel stuck, to work through the emotions and experiences that brought you here, and to find ways to remove the roadblocks holding you back. I work with adults experiencing anxiety and depression by helping them discover themselves apart from other people. My communication style In teletherapy, I ask thoughtful questions and use reflective listening to better understand your perspective and ensure you feel heard. I’ll sometimes notice changes in tone or facial expression and gently check in, because I want you to feel safe expressing yourself without judgment. Since communication is central to healthy relationships, I also model and encourage assertive communication, helping you become more mindful of how your words and expressions affect those around you. My journey to mental healthcare My journey in the field actually started when I was around nine years old. I started asking myself why people can go through the same situation but respond so differently.
