What should a new client know about working with you?

Choosing to begin therapy is a meaningful step, and I believe it reflects both courage and a desire for positive change. My priority is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the counseling process. My approach is holistic, client-centered, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and, when requested, Christian counseling to help clients develop practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward goals that are personally meaningful. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and creating a more fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins by exploring your concerns, personal history, strengths, and the goals you hope to accomplish through therapy. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects your values, priorities, and unique life experiences. As therapy progresses, we'll identify patterns that may be contributing to stress or emotional distress while developing practical strategies to manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, caregiving responsibilities, and self-esteem challenges. Throughout the process, I provide encouragement, guidance, and evidence-based interventions to help you build confidence, improve emotional wellness, and create lasting, meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
