Beth Wishnick Kaminsky

Beth Wishnick Kaminsky

Psychotherapist
PA
You're the person everyone counts on. You say yes when you mean no. You smooth things over, keep the peace, put yourself last — and you're exhausted. On the outside you look capable, even enviable. But inside you're running on empty, wondering why it's so hard to ask for what you need, or why you feel invisible even in your closest relationships. People pleasing isn't a personality quirk. It's a pattern that usually starts early — a way of staying safe, staying loved, staying connected. And it works, until it doesn't. Until you wake up one day and realize you've built a life around everyone else's needs and have lost track of your own. That's where our work begins. I work with thoughtful adults who are tired of shrinking themselves to keep others comfortable. People who are ready to understand where this pattern came from, and what it would feel like to finally stop abandoning themselves in their relationships. Together we'll get curious about the experiences that taught you that your needs didn't matter — or that love had to be earned through giving. And we'll start to build something different. Not overnight, but one honest moment at a time. My style is warm, direct, and grounded. Therapy with me is a place where you don't have to perform or manage how I feel. You can just show up as you are. If this sounds like you, I'd love to connect.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
