Getting to know Bethany Gaylor

Hello! I'm Bethany. Do you feel your past is adversely affecting your present? Are you struggling with excessive worries about the future? If you feel alone in dealing with the difficulties of life, therapy may be for you. I practice with an open and genuine relationship with clients, focusing on helping them grow from their experiences to become the best version of themselves. I utilize many therapeutic techniques to form a diverse approach because everyone is different. With these things in mind, I collaborate with each client to find the most effective treatments. I specialize in teen and adult counseling, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I utilize talk therapy, a person-centered approach, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help clients work through their struggles to feel their best. I earned my MEd in Counselor Education from Sul Ross State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. The human mind is an amazing and mysterious thing. It presents its own set of solutions and challenges while also working to maintain equilibrium. Let's explore it and work toward healing together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to have you feeling relief from your very first session. You will know that you are understood, that you have a partner in this work, and that there is hope. Utilizing a strengths-based, interpersonal approach, I will listen, reflect, and provide guidance and practical tools that you will incorporate into your daily life to reclaim a sense of control and well-being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
