Getting to know Betsy Franco
I began my clinical career in 2016 as a Bilingual Mental Health Counselor for at-risk youth. For the past five years, I have practiced as a School Counselor in a high school setting. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Central Connecticut State University and am a Connecticut-Licensed Professional Counselor. I am excited to join you on your journey. I am genuine, honest, and will meet you “where you are” with the ultimate goal of growth.
I pursued the clinical counseling field due to my desire to help others find success through various techniques and strategies. I am passionate about working with people on life transitions, career changes and goals, and most importantly, assisting in developing lifelong skills to manage and overcome difficult times and emotions. I have found success through a person-centered and strength-based approach to help you build the necessary tools to navigate current obstacles. I can't wait to join you on your growth journey!
What should a new client know about working with you?
At our initial session, we will review treatment goals/areas of growth. Through our journey together we will utilize multiple treatment interventions/strategies to ensure that you reach your goals. It is important to me that you see yourself grow through our work together. If at any point you feel at a stand still, we will reevaluate and attempt new strategies.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
