The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Grow Therapy I have the utmost respect for those who seek help through therapy. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is a collaborative one, based on the belief that you have the answers you need within yourself. It is my job to help you get to those answers. In essence, you are the explorer, and I am the sherpa-guiding, encouraging, and supporting you through new awareness, discoveries, and personal growth. I welcome the opportunity to be creative in my work and often integrate several therapeutic techniques and modalities in the same session, depending on the client's needs and disposition. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2003. My specialties include mind/body/mindfulness work, spirituality, art therapy, drama therapy, and cognitive/behavioral approaches. In my private practice as well as in clinical settings, I have worked with dual-diagnosed clients, couples, individuals, groups, and families. Because of my own life experience, I particularly appreciate working with the aging community, artistic personalities, people in life transition, or those addressing issues of long-term illness or depression. These are crazy times, and I am here to help however I can!

What should a new client know about working with you?

From my perspective, a client is complete with therapy when they understand themselves well enough to take control of themselves and their lives in ways that feel good and are supportive for their well-being. After each session, I try to offer a summary of what we discussed, new insights, and connection between past and current behaviors and beliefs. The goal is to shed light on behavior patterns and their origins, self-sabotaging behavior, the difference between learned and self-created behaviors and beliefs. Essentially, my goal is to help others understand and love themselves better so that they can live a better, more creative and satisfying life. Techniques include: Inner Child work, visualization, deep breathing, homework, and of course, talk therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
