Getting to know Beverly Robinson

I specialize in helping clients who are struggling with PTSD, trauma, grief, acute life challenges, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. Utilizing multiple evidence-based techniques, including EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness, I tailor my approach to each individual client’s experience. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Upper Iowa University. My mission is to assist each client on their journey to rediscover hope. Through our work together, clients will learn techniques to reduce intensity and practical resources to address persistent emotions, allowing them to be more present and achieve a new state of balance in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I empower my clients by facilitating a trauma informed, person centered, strength based, straight forward approach which is essential to fostering change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each client will have an initial intake and assessment session to review the clients primary concerns, history and severity. Once a baseline is established we will discuss the clients therapy goals and therapists observations then combine them to create a treatment plan to guide our way forward. *All Sessions are 53 minutes in length.
