Bianca Massi, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
My path to becoming a mental health provider grew out of a combination of personal experience, professional curiosity, and a deep desire to help others feel empowered in their own lives. Early experiences with trauma shaped the way I understand healing, resilience, and the importance of having support during life’s most overwhelming moments. While challenging, those experiences ultimately planted the seed for what would become my career. I am deeply interested in the ways people adapt, survive, and make meaning out of hardship. This led me to pursue formal training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, along with a commitment to ongoing continuing education. Over more than a decade of practice, I have supported individuals navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, family violence, grief, and major life transitions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I view therapy as a collaborative and relational process rooted in safety, trust, and empowerment. My clients’ insights shape the work just as much as my training does, and I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood and supported in their own capacity for growth. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices while also supporting the mind–body connection. I incorporate mindfulness, creative arts interventions, pranayama breathwork for somatic trauma release, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate. I aim to meet clients where they are, honoring both their lived experiences and their nervous system as part of the healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe, grounded, and supportive space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. We will focus on building rapport, clarifying what has brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals for treatment. There is no pressure to disclose more than feels comfortable. You can expect a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where collaboration is central. Together, we will begin to explore what support looks like for you and how therapy can help you feel more empowered, regulated, and connected as we move forward.
