Getting to know Bijana Allen
With each of my clients, I work to improve their quality of life beyond the most pressing issues. My approach is honest, direct, present and future focused, and goal oriented. As a therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University, I work with individuals and couples to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional challenges. I address my clients' thought processes, feelings, and behaviors to find new ways to cope with and alleviate distress.

For the first time in a very long time I was able to open up to someone. She didn't force it out of me, but held the session as more of a conversation. She didn't probe me uncomfortably with questions. She was respectful and kind. I wish I has the same experience when I partnered with other therapists elsewhere. I felt like she actually listened and cared, not like I was a patient in her list.

Bijana is non-judgemental, but also direct and responsive. Through my time in counseling, I was able to identify the real issues that were holding me back. The quality of my life has improved greatly as a result.
