Getting to know Billy Sheehan

My name is Billy Sheehan. I am a fully Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor. I work with Children ages 13-17 years old with parental consent and Adults 18 years and older. I offer grief/loss counseling, couples or relationship counseling. I am accepting and enjoy working with LGBTQ clients. I also treat anxiety, depression, life changes, and men's issues. I am eclectic in my approach to therapy in that I draw from multiple therapies to find what works best for the client.. I use Person-Centered Rogerian approach as well as ACT, Solution Focused, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with client to establish what changes and goals are most important to them. I provide encouragement and support as they challenge themselves to make desired changes.
