I received my Master's in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from Palo Alto University/Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in 2016. Before I embarked on my journey to become a counselor, I was already heavily invested in working with underprivileged populations, along with youth and their families. I have over 10 years of experience working in social service and community programs. My work has taken me across a wide array of environments-from private practice, community mental health, school-based and afterschool care, to general nonprofit organizations. I believe in helping people come together and learn to live authentically from a place of self-compassion and self-worth. It has been an honor to take part in others' growth and actualization. I'm passionate about supporting high-risk youth and mending the relationships they have with their families. I also enjoy one-on-one work with parents who are struggling to guide their children toward becoming valuable members of the community. I pride myself on offering comprehensive and collaborative individual therapeutic care. I work with all diagnoses and disorders and have experience addressing symptoms and offering behavioral interventions across a range of evidence-based modalities. I believe that meaning-making is an important part of the human experience, so I spend time talking to clients about existential issues, helping them work through their tender struggles.
