TX
Welcome! My name is Bobbie Anne, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over seven years of experience providing therapy and related services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial and intensive outpatient care, physician family practice, and I maintain my own private practice. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship challenges. I have experience with individual, group, and family therapy. I am passionate about helping people discover hope, develop resilience, and increase self-awareness to promote healing. I emphasize Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy but integrate interventions from a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a treatment plan that meets the unique needs of each client and helps restore balance with a positive mindset for overall improved mental health and emotional well-being. I received my Bachelor's degree in English/Education from Tarleton State University and my Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from Lamar University. I hold concurrent licensure as a Texas State Educator and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
