As a solution-focused counselor, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and addressing a variety of concerns across different stages of life. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Services from DePaul University, which has equipped me with the skills to effectively assist clients in navigating life transitions, managing anxiety and depression, enhancing self-awareness, and exploring immigrant and second-generation identities. My goal is to help clients address their current challenges and reclaim a sense of fulfillment and excellence in their lives. In our sessions, I prioritize a collaborative approach, fostering meaningful conversations that encourage positive growth. Many of my past clients have described their experience as encouraging, enriching, and empowering. As a Chinese-American, I offer therapeutic services in both English and Mandarin Chinese, making my support accessible to a wider range of individuals. Depending on my clients’ experiences and values, I draw upon various clinical approaches including: - Strength-Based Therapy - Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) - Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy - Narrative Therapy Outside of clinical work, you may find me experimenting with fusion recipes, training for triathlons (with Ironman aspirations), and sharing the funniest memes #Balance
