My name is Shanise ,your favorite mental health therapist! I have obtained multi-state licensure in Georgia and South Carolina. My areas of expertise consist of Behavior Modification, Depression, Anxiety, and Relational Disorders. My modalities of therapy include: Gestalt therapy, CBT therapy, and DBT therapy. I like to use humor, challenging questions, and a direct approach. In counseling we should get to the point, and we should have fun doing it. While in session, I will give you skills that you can use to chart your way through the haze. You will learn how to better control the emotional swings that cause you discomfort and sometimes interfere with meaningful relationships. Intimate relationships are difficult to manage and while you can't change other people, you can change yourself. My favorite activities when I'm not at work are : shopping, and trying new exciting restaurants.
