My therapist journey set off two decades back when I started addressing my past and fears. Embracing self-acceptance gifted me with freedom and letting go endowed strength. A burning desire to comprehend the mind's workings and apply this knowledge to help others find the same freedom and strength, propelled my mission. Born a person encumbered by life's fears, I've morphed into someone who relishes life's "extraness". Aware of trauma and shame's impact, I understand the struggle to survive one day at a time. But I also perceive the richness of life and revel in guiding others to their unique version of it! My experiences, coupled with formal education, equipped me to extend aid. I secured my Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2012) and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University (2015). My experience stretches across several mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. I'm equipped with various therapeutic theories and styles but lean towards an eclectic approach. No two individuals are identical, hence the need for bespoke therapy.
