Hello, I'm Bonnie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Behavioral Health Therapist. I earned my MSW from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and since 2016, I've had the privilege of working in various mental health settings. My journey has allowed me to support adults dealing with anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and interpersonal relationship issues. My approach to therapy is grounded in a Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed perspective. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and my role is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I utilize several evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In our sessions, we will work together to identify your treatment goals and develop a personalized plan to help you achieve them. I am here to equip your toolbox with the coping strategies you need to navigate life's challenges and live your best life. Whether you're dealing with stress, trauma, or navigating a significant life transition, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way. I also specialize in areas such as anger management, family relationships, gender identity, grief and bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, military and veteran support, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), phobias, intimate and romantic relationships, and spirituality. Additionally, I offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions for those who prefer the convenience and comfort of virtual therapy. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your journey to wellness.
